Hearing this is enough to shock anyone.....especially when a big television company like Channel Seven forces someone to shut down their fan site because they believe 'it will confuse TV viewers of finding the official website'.

Sadly this has happened to a guy named Michael, who is 18 years old and who is (like myself) a huge fan of Channel Seven's new family drama "Packed to the Rafters"!! Like many before him, Michael create a fan site so that fans could find out everything there was to know about 'the happens of the Rafter family'. Now it seems like he is unable to use the site's domain - http://www.packedtotherafters.com.au as Seven lawyers believe that it could cause confusion for other fans to get access to their official PttR website on Yahoo!7.

Michael told TV Tonight:

“I couldn’t believe they required me to hand over the domain which means shutting down the entire site. I had a feeling that one day they might require me to make it more obvious that it wasn’t the official website. I would get emails from other fans saying how much they loved the show and asked questions, I would always make sure I stated that we weren’t the official website and pointed them in the right direction.”

The site has since been shut down but you can't help feeling sorry for someone who put in months of hard work to create a site for people to enjoy. Since PttR was Channel Seven's #1 show for 2008, they could of found another way to keep its only fan site open.

Seven's other popular show "Home and Away" has four fan sites, which I have discovered in the past have never had this problem.

So please guys find it in your hearts to rethink your decision as we need a PttR fan site!!!!!!
